Weaning In Steroid Dependant Asthmatics - An Initial Experience with Inhaled Budesonide

Inhaled budesonide has been tried in seven steroid dependent asthmatics. In six patients significant reduction in oral steroid dose was achieved. There was some improvement in peak expiratory flow after addition of budesonide.
